SDA Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (Tranche 0-3)

The Space Development Agency's Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) is a low Earth orbit constellation of transport, tracking, and mission-support satellites, launched in successive tranches on a 2-year cadence. Tranche 0 demonstrator satellites launched in 2023. Tranche 1 (roughly 160 transport + tracking satellites) begins launches in 2025. SDA's transport layer provides Link 16 and optical crosslinks for JADC2 data movement in space; the tracking layer supports hypersonic and ballistic missile warning. SDA operates on a "spiral" acquisition model — each tranche awarded to multiple vendors on rapid cycles rather than a single decade-long program.
