Who we are
Nerdrums is the operator of Portolan (analyst product) and Bearings Network (verified-organization graph). Contact: justin@nerdrums.com.
Acceptable use
- You claim organizations you have authority to represent. Impersonation or claiming a record you have no relationship to is grounds for immediate account suspension and record reassignment.
- You do not upload Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) or classified data. Nerdrums surfaces are UNCLASSIFIED-only.
- You do not misuse the disclosure-request flow to harass other organizations. Rate limits apply per-IP and per-email.
- You do not attempt to circumvent anti-spoofing controls (OTP salting, DNS TXT proof, SAM POC notification).
What Bearings Network is (and isn't)
Bearings Network is a public verified-organization graph for the U.S. defense industrial base. Records that appear on public URLs are either owner-claimed and owner-published, or seeded from public sources with per-field provenance and a published dispute path.
Bearings Network does not conduct transactions, act as a broker, or execute contracts. Disclosure requests connect two organizations who both consent; what happens between them after the introduction is outside Nerdrums.
Availability + fitness
Nerdrums operates commercial-cloud infrastructure with best-effort availability. No SLA is offered on public tiers during pre-launch. Data accuracy of public-source facts is subject to the accuracy of the upstream source; dispute paths exist for correction.
Termination
You may close your account at any time from /network/settings/security. We may terminate accounts for acceptable-use violations, with notice by email at the address on file.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Final governing-law wording is being finalized with counsel.
