DEFINITION

Counter-UAS is the mission of detecting, identifying, tracking, and defeating unauthorized or hostile unmanned aircraft. Operations combine layered sensing — radar, RF, and electro-optical — with electronic-warfare and kinetic defeat effects, coordinated through common command-and-control systems. WHY IT MATTERS
