Every named channel is monitored during US business hours. Automated confirmations are sent on receipt; a human replies within the turnaround shown below.

Data-subject requests (GDPR / CCPA)
Bearings Network honors the following data-subject rights for European claimants (GDPR) and California residents (CCPA and CPRA):
- Right to access. Request a copy of the personal data associated with your account.
- Right to rectification. Correct inaccurate personal data.
- Right to erasure. Delete your account and the personal data associated with it (see Account Deletion and Closure).
- Right to portability. Receive your data in a structured, commonly-used format (JSON export).
- Right to restrict processing. Pause use of your personal data pending a resolution of an access or correction request.
- Right to object. Object to specific processing activities, including AI-feature use (see the AI-exclusion opt-out in the Responsible AI Statement).
Route all data-subject requests through privacy@bearings.network. Include the account email address on file so we can verify authenticity before acting.
Legal notices and service of process
For legal notices, cease-and-desist correspondence, subpoenas, or service of process, email privacy@bearings.network with subject line beginning "LEGAL:" — we will respond within 2 business days with the registered agent address for physical service. Copies of notices are retained by counsel; do not include CUI or classified material.
Media and press
Media inquiries should reach hello@bearings.network with subject line beginning "PRESS:" — we will route to the right party.
Law-enforcement requests
Law-enforcement requests should be sent to privacy@bearings.network with subject line beginning "LE:". We require properly-issued legal process for the disclosure of non-public information and will respond consistent with applicable law and our Acceptable Use Policy. Emergency-disclosure requests concerning imminent risk to life may be handled without formal process at our discretion.
Escalation
If a channel does not respond within its stated turnaround, escalate to privacy@bearings.network with the original message thread. Every escalation is acknowledged within 1 business day.
Changes to this contact matrix
Channels and turnarounds are dated in the "Last reviewed" line at the top of this page. Deprecation of a channel is announced 30 days in advance with a redirection notice on the address itself.
